Luxury Interior Design Process
Step 1:
Design brief
We’ll visit the site to understand how the space comes together and to see what can realistically be done to transform the property.
Step 2:
Concept design
Following the brief, we’ll create an initial design plan, which will include 3D models, floorplans, fabrics and furniture.
Step 3:
Design development
We’ll refine the interior layout whilst also considering any economic, environmental and construction needs.
Step 4:
Technical design
We’ll put together a fully-detailed technical construction pack, including finish schedules and FF&E specifications for the new area.
Step 5:
Construction
Construction work will commence. We’ll work closely with the appointed contractors to ensure that the work being completed is in line with the design plan.
Step 6:
Handover and closeout
When construction is complete, we'll visit the site and assess whether any further work is necessary to fulfil the brief. The project won’t come to a close until we ourselves and the client are happy with the new space.

The luxury interior design team is led by Katie Thomas, the Co-founder of KTM Design.
Katie is the South West Regional Director for the Society of British & International Design (SBID), a Visiting Lecturer at the Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) and a Guest Speaker at property, design and educational shows around the UK. Katie is surrounded by a team of experienced luxury interior designers who work to exceptionally high standards.
